This property has been in the family for over 60 years and was developed for 2 families in order to remain the original house was lifted and renovated and turned into a passive house duplex. The property is situated in the RT7 zone of Vancouver which has strict design guidelines and a heritage component. Adding passive house design to all the other requirements from the city was challenging but in the end successful. This project won the award from SAB magazine for best small residential project in Canada in 2022.
